What started as a summer pop-up in 2019 has grown into a thriving multi-location business with a loyal customer base and strong unit economics. Founded by Columbia Business School graduates, Beambar’s journey from concept testing to established NYC studios demonstrates a scalable, customer-validated model built for long-term growth.

2019
Beambar Pop-Up. We set up a pop-up the summer after graduating from Columbia Business School in Nolita, NYC. Hugely successful with over 100 customers in 1 week!
2022
Opened Flagship studio on Bleecker Street, NYC
Batsheva from the Netflix show “My Unorthodox Life” came to our opening party to get her teeth whitened.

We crossed $100K of sales in 6 months.
2023
Opened our second studio on the Upper West Side, NYC experimenting with a smaller format
Upgraded the look and feel of the brand with more aesthetic design elements. Generated $50K of net sales in 3 months while Bleecker St crosses $250K in net sales for the year.
2024
Consistent sales growth in both locations – we streamline operations with just 10 employees total. We started exploring franchising options.
